"Live--Work--Play--Made up of six municipalities, Greenville County continues to be ranked as one of the top destinations in the country for business and pleasure. During the day, you'll find everything from bustling corporate employees to full-time art school students blazing their way down Main Street to grab a bite at more than 60 restaurants and sandwich shops, or to broaden their cultural horizons at the museums and galleries along the way. But, as the sun goes down, the nightlife begins with everything from Broadway shows to late-night theatre showings, fine dining and intimate cafes--all surrounding the newly—revived Reddy River Falls Park opened in 2004.

Rated one the top 25 housing markets in the nation by Expansion Management magazine, Greenville continues to enjoy a steady flow of new residents from all backgrounds, lending to its diverse population and constantly increasing international flavor. Without a doubt, Greenville has all the attraction of a larger city; yet, it's still small enough to call home.

Downtown/Central Business District
For the young and upwardly mobile, living in downtown Greenville is in demand, putting residents within walking distance of world-class restaurants, unique galleries, cultural and athletic entertainment, and public parks for those lazy Sunday afternoons. Mid- to high-end downtown apartments are going up at a steady pace for those who enjoy the amenities of the downtown area but don't want the responsibility of a full-sized home.

Young families also adapt easily to year-round family entertainment on Main Street and close proximity to many of Greenville's most attractive amenities in the surrounding downtown neighborhoods, like the North Main area, Overbrook, Hampton-Pinckney and the West End, to name a few. Situated near great schools and numerous child-care facilities, living in the downtown area is a thriving locale for individuals and families alike."
