The Black Dog Inn welcomes you. Built in 1910, the Black Dog Inn was one of the earliest homes in the burgeoning village of Estes Park. The Inn is snuggled in among towering pine and aspen trees on a rolling acre with an expansive view of Lumpy Ridge and the Estes Valley. Running in front of the Inn you will find a footpath leading to nearby Estes Park attractions, fairgrounds, public pool, bowling alley, golf, and restaurants, all within walking distance. Today the Inn consists of a sunny Great Room, a country kitchen, a cozy dining room and a comfortable living room to relax, read, or watch a movie in front of a crackling fire. This area especially serves as a place to share your day’s adventures with fellow guests. You won’t linger in bed with the delicious smells of breakfast wafting under your door; freshly brewed coffee, steaming hot tea, yummy breads, muffins, and a promise of culinary delights to come. The Inn features four guestrooms, each named for mountain peaks nearby. The rooms are tastefully decorated with family antiques, feather down comforters and bathrobes that unite the charm of yesteryear with the comforts of today. The quiet restful rooms make your stay a relaxing special occasion. SUNDANCE MOUNTAIN SUITE A see-through fireplace from your antique queen-sized walnut bed on one side, or from the soothing warmth of the Jacuzzi whirlpool tub for two. Or one can enjoy a sitting area in front of a bay window and fireplace with your own private library. The sitting area also contains a small under-counter refrigerator. In addition, the Sundance Mountain Suite has a private deck, and private entry. Mummy Mountain SUITE Similar to the Sundance Mountain Suite, this romantic suite has it all. Fireplace, cozy sitting area, refrigerator, Jacuzzi tub for two, marble shower, cathedral ceiling, antique queen sized bed, private deck, private parking and entry, mountain views. Total privacy SNOWDRIFT PEAK Views of Mt. Olympus and Twin Sisters , antique queen size bed and soaking bathtub for two also has a skylight to the stars. In your private library you can choose a good book from your library, snuggle into the overstuffed couch or chair in front of he fireplace, relax and let yourself go. MOUNT OLYMPUS Sunny, east-facing room, with a view of Mount Olympus and Mummy Mt.Range. The room has an antique queen-sized bed and a new comfort area for relaxing. Private bath with large marble shower.

Directions From Denver: Take I-25 North (toward Fort Collins). Exit on Hwy 66 west to Lyons. Turn right on Hwy 36 in Lyons (20 miles to Estes Park). Continue straight (approximately 20 miles) to the first stoplight in Estes Park and turn left onto Highway 7 (South Saint Vrain Ave). Go .9 miles south on Highway 7 and turn left just after Graves Avenue (just past the Mountaineer Restaurant on left). You have arrived!
