Come relax in our cozy, one-bedroom, stone guesthouse on 37 acres in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, away from it all, yet convenient to Comfort, Kerrville, Boerne and Fredericksburg.
Call it a bed and breakfast, cabin, guest house or vacation rental ... it is your private escape from city life, surrounded by wildlife, farm animals, a creek, fruit trees ... and all the stars in the heavens at night. We live out here and have only one guesthouse, so you will be our only guests. You are assured of privacy and of peace and quiet ... at an affordable rate.

The kingsize bed and solid stone walls make the cabin just right for a romantic getaway, but there is also a queensize sofabed and a regular sofa in the living room, making it comfortable for a family of five.
Children are welcome, but pets need to find other accommodations. Most children love to play in the creek, make friends with our various farm animals and hunt for fossilized seashells and arrowheads.

You are welcome to pick fruit in season: mulberries, peaches, figs, blackberries, jujubes, grapes and agaritas.
Comfort is a historic German town just 10 minutes away, with a beautiful old-fashioned downtown full of antique shops, restaurants, a general store, the Guadalupe River, and even a winery.....all easy and very pleasant to walk around, with very little traffic.
Nearby attractions (within an hour's drive through gorgeous Hill Country scenery) include several more wineries, Enchanted Rock, San Antonio's Riverwalk, the Alamo, Fiesta Texas and Sea World.
