Summer offers a host of activities -- walking, hiking, sailing, tennis, and mountain biking. Special events include arts and craft fairs, music, and film festivals. While many guests come for a reunion with friends and family and to enjoy the mountain air and wildflowers, others come for the outstanding fishing or to be challenged by the Jack Nicklaus designed Golf course. Families should check out the SuperSlide or the largest human maze Amaze’n Breckenridge in the Peak 8 Fun Park

Driving Directions from Denver:
Take I70 westbound to the high country. Go through the Eisenhower Tunnel.
Exit I70 at Exit 203, Frisco/Breckenridge, onto Highway 9
Continue through Frisco on Highway 9 to Breckenridge (about 9 miles)
Once in Breckenridge, take the first left turn at the traffic lights onto French Street.  Continue on French for one block and you will see the Fireside Inn's blue building at the intersection of French and Wellington. Turn left on Wellington past the Inn's white fence and park in the small parking lot and come and check in!

Alternatively if you have no car:
Couple of options to get from Denver airport. Easiest and direct is a shuttle which we can book this for you (we would need flight info, arrival time, etc). This takes approx 1 hr 40 mins. Another option would be the Greyhound. From DIA Take a bus from airport into Denver, (from Eagle you need to get to Vail), then take greyhound to Frisco, town 9 miles away and then take Summit Stage shuttle to Breckenridge and then either walk or take free town shuttle a couple of blocks to the Fireside. Check Greyhound website for info. .
